Craig and Holly went together like chalk and cheese. Holly was the chalk; intelligence, beauty, charm, independance and Craig was the cheese. Blue cheese to be presice; you either loved him or you hated him. Holly, loved him. She really did and funnily enough, Craig loved Holly, very much. They'd known each other for atleast 6 years and everyone awaited the day they would walk down the street hand in hand as a couple. However, this never happened yet they still cast secret glances to one other when they thought no one else was looking. Her light blue eyes would meet his emerald gaze and her deep, red lips would curl into a smile at the dashing grin he would throw at her.

Like chalk and cheese, they were very different. Holly, a beautiful young girl with long, chessnut hair that cascaded into curls down her back, had been raised like a princess in an elegant country manor. She was educated in one of the best schools in the country, private of course, and also happened to be top of the class, every class. Craig on the other hand, lived in the rough part of town in a small flat after leaving the orphanage at 17. He had a handsome face and short, dirty blond hair. He got by OK on his own. He was very streetwise and a bit of a bad boy, often breaking the law to scrape in a bit of cash. Despite his low income, however, he had managed to get into Holly's school after surprising everyone in passing the entrance exam with flying colours. No, he hadn't cheated, he couldn't have even if he'd wanted to- thought the exameners after searching his bag, his jacket and jeans and every other hiding place possible when they'd finished marking him. However, he had done. In a way. You see, Craig wasn't a normal boy. He was a vampire. He'd manipulated the thoughts of the exameners to wriggle his way in, so that he could be with his dear Holly, of course. Five months down the line, Craig got expelled for beating up one choir boy that got too friendly with Her. In the end, he joined the army and moved in with Holly when her Father died, leaving her the manor at the age of 18.
All was well, until one day Craig introduced Holly to a girl named Sasha. She was tall, blonde, tanned and looked great in a mini skirt.

"Holly, meet Sasha, my new girlfriend"
Sasha flashed Holly a lipstick smile that crushed her heart.
"Nice to meet you."

So what became of all this? Well, before going into that we have to look futher than chalk and cheese.

Opposite Holly's school was a public school. There, attended a boy called Kael. Kael was one of Craig's best friends and also, he was a demon. A fun loving, cocky, trouble making demon. He had scruffy, black hair that reflected a deep purple in the sun, golden hawk like eyes set into a cheeky, boyish face and a bad boy reputation that made Craig look like a saint.  He was the heart throb of both schools. He knew his way round girls, both good and bad, and had had his way with more than a few.
To add to the odd group of friends, there was another young vampire attending the same school as Holly. His name was Frazer. His hair was jet black with a flash of pink creeping through it at the back, his skin was paper white and his eyes an icy blue. Like  Holly, he was issued from a wealthy family and came from a more than comfortable background. He knew both Kael and Craig through Holly, after meeting her at a school dance. Unlike Craig and Kael, Frazer much prefered to sit down infront of the open fireplace in Holly's large but cosy livingroom writing music and playing the grand piano sat in the corner. Never did he enjoy being at crowded parties or being the center of attention. He always remained calm and quiet, watching the others with his inquisitive gaze...

So what became of this group of friends? Craig and Holly; the lovers in denial, and Kael and Frazer; the polar opposites. Well, 3 months down the line, after Craig had introduced Holly to his girlfriend Sasha, on Craig's birthday this happened...

Sat in the corner of the room, visible only by a slither of orange light from the fireplace was a dark haired boy. He was lent casually against a sleek, black piano with his legs crossed at the ankels and a glass of red wine in his hand. Through the mess of hair that fell over his icy blue eyes, he watched the mass of bodies move around the room, dancing, singing and conversing under the thickness of the booming bass. It was Frazer, keeping to himself as usual, sipping on his drink. It was only when the music got so unbareable after the track changed to a flurry of drum and bass, that the ear-sore vampire rose silently from his seat in the shadows and slipped out of the room into the cooler, quieter hallway. Sighing in relief, he ran his free hand through his hair and took a seat at the foot of the stairs. Less than a week before the party, he had secretly tried to persuade Holly to throw Craig's birthday party elsewhere but she insisted she have it at hers.
"There's alot more room here, I'll just have them use the hall and keep the other rooms locked" she had argued when he attempted to put her off the entire idea.
"Anyway...it would make him happy."

'Him' being Craig of course. Frazer shook his head quietly as his mind drifted over the events of the past 3 months. No one would have ever imagined the blonde haired vampire dating someone other than Holly. It was absured. The two were made for each other yet they avoided even the thought of getting together. Why? No one knew. What they did know, however, was that the day Craig brought Sasha home to meet Holly, things between them would never be the same. The two had grown apart and Holly had often come to Frazer to confide in him, that is until she turned to Kael one day. Yes, to make things even more awkward within the group, good girl Holly had begun to spend alot more time with the infamouse heart breaker Kael, also known as Craig's best friend. Though he had never commented on the situation, Frazer disliked the way Kael took advantage of Holly's feelings. She came to him in search of comfort and he gave her a hell of a lot morethan that, that was sure. He flirted with her continuously when Craig wasn't around and acted the gentleman when he was. Soon enough, the young girl had fallen for his charming ways and the two were an undeclared item.

Frazer finished his glass and placed the empty crystal down on the step he was sat on. Sighing deeply, he rose from his seat just as one of arched doors opened. In walked a tall, handsome blonde boy holding a can of beer.
"Hey Craig" said Frazer with a small smile.
Craig nodded in responce then asked hurriedly, "seen Holly anywhere?"
Frazer shook his head, "I saw her briefly in the kitchen but that's it."
Craig clicked his tongue, his eyes trailing lazily past Frazer and up the stairs "oh well. I'll just have to keep looking."
Intrigued, the dark haired vampire asked, "why?"
Craig slipped a hand into his pocket and shrugged one shoulder, "I've barely seen her all night."
Seeing more in his friend's expression, Frazer continued his questioning, "are you OK? You look a litte-"
"It's Sasha. She's pissed outta her face and is making a scene. That's why I came out here, to get away for abit." He turned his eyes to the floor and took a swig of his beer. "What you doing out here?" he asked, after a moment of silence- a question he could've answered himself.
"Needed abit of air." Frazer said simply.
Craig cracked a small smirk, "yeah..."

After knocking down a few more beers with Frazer on the stairs, Craig made his way to the upstairs bathroom (Holly had locked the one downstairs so that it wouldn't get trashed by the partying guests). On his way towards the bathroom, quiet whispers snagged his attention. Curious, he followed them intending to usher them back downstairs and into the hall. However, upon nearing the voices, he soon recognized them to be that of Holly and that of Kael. Something in the tone of their voices irked his nerves. Holly was speaking in a way Craig had never heard before. Her usual, silk like melody was replaced by a syrupy, alluring utter which made his spine tingle. Creeping closer, he peeped around the corner just in time to see Kael pin Holly to the wall, his hands grasping her firmly by the hips. Though he couldn't hear what he was saying, he could tell that his tone of voice much ressembled Holly's, only more lustful. He averted his eyes momentarily as he felt his heart sink to the pit of his stomach, only to feel a much more painful emotion when he returned them. Kael now had his lips pressed hungrily against Holly's, one hand at the back of her head and the other around her waist. His fingers toyed with the silky fabric of her dress and her thick locks of chestnut hair, clawing at it as he worked his lips over hers. Craig watched on in anger as Kael smirked against the kiss, occasionally opening his eyes a crack to gaze smugly at the way she returned it. Much to Craig's hurtful surprise, she returned it with an equal amount of desire, letting out a low moan as Kael's tongue met hers...

Holly moaned softly as Kael's tongue forcefully parted her lips and began to explore the warmth of her mouth. He pulled feverishly at her hair and gripped her waist, pushing his hips against hers. Needing air, she brought both hands up to his chest and gently pushed him away from her, breaking the kiss. Her chest rose and fell with each ragged breath. She gulped down air and wipped the corners of her mouth with a curled finger.
"Kael..." she breathed, her gaze meeting his through lowered eyelids and long, black lashes. "I don't think we...should..."
She trailed off as she watched Kael's expression form into a mischevious smirk, his eyes wandering over her form to take in her curves and flawless tanned skin. New to the feelings that burned inside her, Holly made an attempt to free herself from the wall but just as she took a step from it, Kael stepped directly in front of her, causing her to step back up against it again. The moment she realized it, his hands rested on either side of her and he inched his face close to hers. She could still smell her breath on his lips...
Within moments, his mouth once again covered hers and all will to oppose him left her body. Instead, she surrendered to his relentless tongue and wandering hands and, lost in the moment, soon found herself pressed into the soft mattress of her bed...

This is not a spin off Of Dying to Dance, this is a seperate story about the pasts of some of the characters before they met the cast of Dying to Dance. The characters in this story are Holly, Craig, Kael and Frazer. They are all my OC's and are not to be used by any other person other than myself.

Images of the characters can be found in my gallery. They're kinda old. Newer, better ones will be drawn by me in the future when i have the time and motivation.

I wrote this coz i got bored and needed something to do. I was feeling creative so decided to write this hoping that Dying to Dance fans would be interested.

For those of you who do not have a clue what Dying To Dance is, it's a story me and *AnglaiseRox wrote. The story is on going and can be read on *AnglaiseRox's profile. Here is the link to the first chapter is anyone is interested >>> [link] We would really appreciate it if you checked it out :)

Going back to this story. Like i said before, i wrote it randomly and now, kinda have to finish it so i'm going to post it up in chapters. By the way My Spelleng Sukz so if you see any/the mistakes i would appreciate it if you simple informed me and corrected them for me rather than mock me for it. Thanks

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this. It probebly is abit confusing for all of you who don't already know the characters but i tried to write it as best as i can so that it is as clear to others as it is to me. It's difficult writing an original story on your own. I'm so used to having *AnglaiseRox help me out :/ Oh well...

Please leave COMMENTS and tell me what you think. Be gentle, it was only written outta bordom. Lol
